Аннотация

Рассматривается регион Балто-Черноморья (Восточная Европа, European isthmus, Balto-Pontic isthmus, Great Eastern Isthmus etc.) не только как географическое пространство междуморья (Intermarium, Intermarum), но и как междумирье — интерфейс европейской и  отечественной (евразийской) цивилизации. Цель исследования — выявление логики изменения конфигураций этого геополитического пространства. Используется и развивается предложенная В. Л. Цымбурским концепция конфликтной балтийско-черноморской системы. Однако в отличие от его агентивной трактовки конфликтной системы противоборства центров силы обосновывается иная, структурная модель Балто-Черноморской системы (БЧС) как многомерного эволюционирующего пространства разнородных взаимодействий, включающих и сотрудничество. Доказывается возможность использования модели БЧС в интерпретации и оценке политического развития междуморья с конца XIV столетия до наших дней. Анализируются
пространственные, геополитические и геохронополитические характеристики Балто-Черноморья, а также модели межцивилизационного  взаимодействия Европы и Евразии. Рассматривается проблема политической идентичности региона, его способности играть самостоятельную роль в мировой политике.

This article considers the Baltic-Pontic Sea region not only as a geographical space of Intermarium (Międzymorze, Tarpjūris etc.) but also as Intermundium or the interface of European and Russian (Eurasian) civilization. The study sets out to clarify the logic of changing patterns shaping this geopolitical area. To this end, the concept of Baltic-Pontic conflict system proposed by Vadim Tsymbursky is applied and further developed. In contrast to his agent-focused vehicle of analysis disclosing the power interactions in Intermarium, the authors advance an alternative structurefocused model of the Baltic-Pontic system (BPS) as a multidimensional evolving space of heterogeneous interactions, which include cooperation. The authors suggest applying the BPS models in interpreting and clarifying  historical developments in the area from the late 14th century until the present. The article analyses the spatial, geopolitical and geochronopolitical characteristics of the region, as well as the models of intercivilizational interaction between Europe and Eurasia. The author addresses the issue of the political identity of the region and its ability to play an independent role in world politics.
